Denon DBP-2010: a deeper shade of Blu
Denon introduces its latest piece of high-quality home cinema kit
Feeling Blu? Then allow Denon’s DBP-2010 to cheer you up. It’s the latest Blu-ray player from the audio-visual gurus, and naturally it boasts more features than your local multiplex.
Hook up the Denon DBP-2010 to a big screen and you’ll get Denon’s usual high-quality, incredibly vivid, rich colours – and that goes for DVDs too, be cause the DBP-2010 boasts 1080p upscaling.
Elsewhere in the Denon DBP-2010 you get digital noise reductions, an HDMI Source Direct feature for native resolution output, multi-format playback and 10-bit video processing. What does all that mean? Superb picture quality. You can even take advantage of BD Live and firmware updates via the Ethernet port. Oh and it has support for DivxHD and AVCHD playback from your HD camcorder.
Out this month the Denon DBP-2010 will come dressed in silver or black and has a fairly hefty price tag of £600. Still, what price for perfect picture quality?
