Dell Inspiron Mini 9 goes solid State-side
The Dell Inspiron Mini 9 joins the so-solid laptop crew
Dell’s bells! Now you can big up your Dell Inspiron Mini 9 with a 32GB solid state drive.
Well, you can if you live in America, because the ‘update’ is only available in the US at the moment. Costing just 100 of your fine American dollars (or £66 to us British folk), you can expand your diminutive laptop from the 8GB or 16GB options currently available to the 32GB SS option.
We’re still wondering whether that’s going to be enough to store all our Kevin Costner flicks and Enrique Eglesias albums. But because it’s solid state we’re safe in the knowledge that old Enrique will still be warbling away through the laptops speakers should we accidentally hurl it out the window during his rendition of Hero.
Still no word as to when this option will be available in the UK, but expect it soon. Very soon.
