Creative launches World of Warcraft headset
For the WoW addict who has everything
Creative Labs has detailed a gaming headset designed specifically for World of Warcraft.
Thanks to the Sound Blaster World of Warcraft USB headset, the hugely popular online multiplayer game will never have sounded so good thanks to a combination of clever speaker tech and dedicated WoW features.
The cool factor comes courtesy of interchangeable Horde and Alliance-themed headset lenses featuring 16 million colour LEDs, custom WoW voice presets so you can sound like a character from the game to other players and interface software that mimics the in-game interface.
But it’s not all gimmickry, as Creative and THX’s collaborative TruStudio PC audio technology is on board to ensure the very best sound from your PC-based gaming exploits, the headset has extra-cushioned earpads and a flexible headband for those long sessions battling enemies on Azeroth, and the pricier wireless edition can be recharged even while in use.
The Creative WoW headsets will be slipping over the heads of eager gamers from March 15, and will cost £109 (wired) and £149 (wireless).
