Crayola announces gadgets for kids
This alarm clock/iPod dock/projector is just one of three gadgets Crayola has announced for kids
It’s a good time to be a kid! Not only are exam results the highest they’ve ever been, but kids’ gadgets are getting more awesome by the day. First up was the LEGO camera, now those purveyors of fine crayons, Crayola, is releasing an MP3 player, alarm clock and a walkie-talkie!
Typically the company’s portable music device seems to designed with every colour under the sun. It also has five finger-friendly buttons to make music playback as easy as possible for clumsy kids. Crayola’s even upped the feature list with a built-in speaker and a voice recorder to complement the 2GB storage space. It’ll run on a single AAA battery and can be docked in the Crayola Alarm Clock Radio, which itself has a projector. What the kids want that for is anyone’s guess, but we’re thinking for PowerPoint presentations, it ain’t.
The Crayola Walkie-talkie finishes off the range, coming with interchangeable faceplates and rubberized buttons. Nifty. All three products will be getting a US release later this year, with a UK slot to follow. Oh to be a kid again…
