Compaq Airlife 100 rocks Android and touchscreen
The Airlife – light and smart
First touted at CES at the start of the year, HP has finally outed its brand-new Android-powered ultra-portable laptop, the Compaq Airlife 100.
It’s billed as a “smartbook”, so nestling somewhere between a netbook, but with smartphone functionality, including a 1GHz Snapdragon processor and integrated 3G.
There’s a decent 10.1in screen that’s rocking resistive touchscreen controls and WiFi nestles alongside the 3G. It only packs a 16GB SSD, but there’s also an included SD card slot to pump things up.
There’s no definite word yet on pricing and carriers in the UK yet, but thanks to the pared-down specs, we’re hoping for a price point that’s cheaper than a netbook.

Looks awsome should perform well and most of all should be cheaper than some mobile phones ... Perfect! I want one!
