Yes, it's a clock made from concrete...

We’re a big fan of concept gadgets here. But this one’s got us positively bricking it. You see, the Daniel Kurth’s Nixie Concrete Clock is a clock that’s, surprise surprise, made out of concrete!

As we said, the Daniel Kurth Nixie Concrete Clock hasn’t gone into production yet, but it features a set of six vintage Z560M Nixie tubes that display the time vertically (so the time in this picture is 10:23:54).

It reminds us a bit of a nuclear holocaust countdown timer. Now we come to mention it, it’s probably the only clock in the world that could survive a nuclear holocaust. Anyway, here’s hoping that it gets put into production soon.
