Cinemin Swivel projector has a twist The twistable Cinemamin Swivel projector: insert your own twisting gags here

The Cinemin Swivel projector allows you to do that thing which you’ve always craved: project videos from your iPhone around walls!

Okay, so you might not crave to do that, but the Cinemin Swivel projector is a nifty little projector to say the least. It’s capable of projecting videos from your iPhone, iPod, PSP, smartphone or pretty much any portable gadget that stores video, and project it up to a size of 60 inches up to eight feet away.

The beauty of the Cinemin Swivel Projector is that it’s so small – roughly the size of a small boy’s hand. That means you can pretty much carry it anywhere alongside your iPod say, and you have a ready-made cinema in your pocket. Texas Instruments’ DLP technology provides the smarts, so you know image quality is going to be pretty good, and there’s the option of hooking up external speakers. There are built-in speakers, but we doubt they’re going to match the surround sound of your local IMAX.

Battery-wise, the Cinemin Swivel Projector only lasts around two hours, so you’re not looking at getting through any Kevin Costner epics (although, why you would want to is beyond us). But you can always hook it up to the mains.

So how much for the Cinemin Swivel Projector? Well, it’s just gone up for pre-order in Europe now for roughly the equivalent of 18 trips to he IMAX or €350. Sign us up!
