Canon Powershot G12 – coming soon
The Canon Powershot G12 – the successor to the hugely successful Canon Powershot G11 – has just surfaced on the web. And it packs in some seriously cool specs – as you’d expect from a top-end compact.
The Canon Powershot G12 made an appearance on Cnet Asia’s website more a mere moment before being pulled down. But not before an eagle-eyed customer managed to get a screenshot of the new snapper and some of its specs.
The G12 will come packing a 5x optical zoom and a 10 megapixel sensor and will cram in HD video skills (at 720p)
There’s also a new High Dynamic Range mode and Hybrid IS image stabilisation for those who are shaky of hand.
Canon has yet to confirm or deny these details, but it looks as if official details of the Powershot G12 will be winging our way before too long…

I have the G9 and my Brother in law the G10, we gave the G11 a miss but if this is true, then I would have to upgrade. (Give the G9 to the kids)
