Canon EOS 7D: top of the paps?
Canon unveils its latest DSLR; we strike a pose
Canon has to deal with more leaks than a dodgy plumber. The Canon EOS 7D has just been made official, but only weeks of internet rumours, whispers and leaked images. So was it worth the wait? You bet! Read on for the full pap attack…
The Canon EOS 7D DSLR camera comes with more photographic appendages and techie goodies than an over-eager wedding photographer. There’s an 18-megapixel sensor for a start for taking snaps as big as Snowdon (not literally, we’re just making a point). It also has an ISO range of 100-6,400 that’s expandable to 12,800 so your blacks are as black as your dark, damp cellar.
The Canon EOS 7D DSLR cameraalso has a continuous shooting mode of 8fps and can capture movies in Full HD at 24fps which can be framed up on the three-inch LCD. Nice.
So how much for this top papper? Well, the Canon EOS 7D is available from October and will have a tag of €1,699.99 for the body only and €1,999.99 with EF 28-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM zoom lens. Not cheap then!
