Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 heads to Nintendo DS and Wii

Out of all the games we’re excited about, Modern Warfare 3 is near the top of the list, and apparently it won’t just be limited to home consoles or the PC. According to Activision, Modern Warfare 3 will also be heading to the Nintendo DS, letting gamers play on the move.

Games like Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 are perfect on platforms such as the Xbox 360, Sony PS3 and PC, but we also love it when our favourite games are released on handheld devices such as the Nintendo DS or Sony PSP.

The gaming experience may be diluted somewhat – at least in terms of graphics – but mobile games can still be every bit as fun. That’s why we’re delighted to hear that Modern Warfare 3 will also be heading to the Nintendo DS in the not too distant future.

There’s no sign of a 3DS version, with developer n-Space tasked with working on the DS version of MW3. The title will also be heading to Nintendo’s Wii.

Would you buy Modern Warfare 3 for your Wii or DS? Or do you think it’s better suited to the more powerful and capable consoles? Leave a comment and let us know.

What a waste of resources. Call of duty on a console with 1980's graphics! are they serious? All DS games should be less than £4 as games for android and ios are FAR superior and only cost a few quid, This is why nobody buys Nintendo handhelds anymore!

I think the Wii version might sell, but the DS version. That's just stupid. The only way that a game like COD will sell is on the 3DS. The graphics on the 3DS are unreal compared to previous models of the DS and the game play of COD would be magical in 3D. Everyone who has a DS more than likely has a PS3 or Xbox and would rather get it on that, and comparing the game play a graphics, they will be very disappointed. On the 3DS on the otherhand that game will be very similar due to it's amazing graphics and it's circle pad joystick thing. Very disappointed about no 3DS version, but I'm looking forward to when COD finally do release a game on the 3DS.
