B&W outs high-end headphones
B&W slips into the headphone market
Bowers & Wilkins has just unveiled its new P5 headphones, its first set of high-end cans to hit UK shelves.
Despite B&W being one of the most respected names in posh audio, the P5 headphones are the British company’s first foray into the headphone market. And as you can see, they’ve pushed the boat out, with a pair that promise pure audio quality thanks to neodymium magnets and noise isolation with sealed leather pads.
The P5 headphones are even “Made For iPod” so you can pop them straight into your Apple PMP and skip tracks on the cord, or use a regular top-notch audio cable with gold-plated plugs.
The Bowers and Wilkins P5 headphones are out now, but only in Apple stores until the end of March, and from general release thereafter. They’ll set you back £249.
