B&Q outs DIY iPhone app
B&Q – DIY on your iPhone
iPhone owners with a penchant for DIY can now download the new B&Q app from iTunes. The app features everything that budding home improvers might need to make their project pain-free rather than a DIY disaster.
As well as a handy B&Q storefinder map so that you can get all the kit you need to get you started on the project, you’ll also find advice on safety and clothing for the job, as well as handy tutorials should you need a little assistance.
Like having your very own tiny Handy Andy in your pocket, the B&Q app’s step-by-step advice ranges from basic jobs to more advanced tasks such as fixing a burst pipe or replacing electrical switches, and you can even make a list of the tools you need to do a job.
When you’re done, you can share your new-found DIY skills with your mates through Twitter and Facebook, and you’ll be kept in the loop with the latest eco tips and special offers from the store. Now there’s no excuse for not getting those shelves up.
The B&Q app is available now for free download from iTunes.

This looks handy, any chance an Android app is on its way?
