Bose goes Bluetooth with new in-ear set
Bose's high-end Bluetooth headset
Bose has launched its first ever single-ear Bluetooth headset – the somewhat obviously named Bose Bluetooth headset.
It features both the usual proprietary Bose audio tech inside, as well as the half-moon shaped silicon StayHear tips recently introduced it the company’s in-ear headphone line, which remove the need for an ear hook.
Bose’s usual TriPort acoustic headphone structure has been optimised for speech reproduction, while the headset also sees the debut of the new Bose Adaptive Audio Adjustment technology, which tweaks the overall volume levels based on both ambient and incoming noise.
With Bluetooth 2.1 on board, and more audio goodies than you can shake a stick at, it’s little surprise that this one-ear wonder has been launched with a $149.95 price tag in the US – a shade under £100 in UK terms.
The Bose Bluetooth headset will start shipping at the end of next month, though we suspect the price will have risen by the time Bose gives us the UK-specific details.
