BlackBerry Curve 3G 9300 official
BlackBerry Curve 9300 – classic Curve updated
The BlackBerry Curve 3G 9300 is official! Rim has announced the release of its latest handset, which follows on from last year’s BlackBerry Curve 8520, but with the added bonus of 3G goodness.
The classic Curve keyboard has stayed the same, and there’s also Wi-Fi and GPS, as well as a slot for microSD cards for up to 32GB. And now that 3G is on board, there’s speedier browsing when you’re not in a Wi-Fi spot.
The screen isn’t as high-res as that of the two year-old BlackBerry Curve 8900 model — it only has a 320×240 screen, where the old 8900 rocked a 480×360 pixel stunner.
The new BlackBerry Curve 3G 9300 will be available to buy later this month, and will come packing BlackBerry OS 5 — but will be due for the BlackBerry OS 6 update later this year. There’s no word of network or pricing as yet.
