Batman LEGO 2: DC Super Heroes set for Wii, Xbox 360 and PS3

Batman LEGO 2: DC Super Heroes is set to be launched this summer with an assault across both Nintendo console and handheld platforms. What’s more, along with the cowled Dark Knight himself we can expect to see Superman, Green Lantern and Wonder Woman go toe-to-toe against the likes of Lex Luthor and the Joker.

LEGO Batman: The Videogame has sold more than 11 million copies world-wide making it something of a success, enough to warrant a follow-up and with Batman LEGO 2: DC Super Heroes upping the anti in terms of characters, we can expect it to appear on all formats, from the Xbox 360, Wii and PlayStation 3 versions, to Nintendo 3DS, DS and even a spanking version heading to the Sony PlayStation Vita.

Final game details are a little thin on the ground right now, but we can expect to be able to explore and play in new areas of Gotham City and use a host of vehicles, such as the Batmobile and even the Batwing.

New gadgets and outfits await our intrepid crime fighters, as Warner Brothers is promising access to Batman’s Power Suit and Robin’s Hazard Cannon, as well as using all-new abilities that include flight, super-breath and heat vision.
