Asus launches ultra-slim and stylish MacBook Air rival
The Asus U36 is the latest addition to the slimline laptop market, featuring a 13.3-inch screen, 1.44kg weight and measuring in at just 19mm at its thickest point
After seeing the success that Apple has enjoyed with its MacBook Air, Asus wants a piece of the action, and has launched the 13.3-inch Asus U36 laptop.
This slimline laptop is considerably cheaper than its rival from Apple, at £699, yet still offers plenty of style and features. The U36 scores the most points when it comes to battery life, with a staggering 11.5 hours on offer from a single charge.
The Asus U36 also manages to achieve its impressive battery life despite the use of a full fat Intel Core i5 processor, so you’ll still be able to carry out intensive home and office tasks, with an nVidia Graphics card even making gaming a possibility.
Costing £699, the Asus U36 is available now.

I like Asus. I have 2 of their laptops. On the hardware side the specs are good and I never had any issues with drivers etc. Also, both laptops came with pre-installed software I actually use!
