Archos 10s netbook is slim, Jim
Archos has already announced a super-skinny successor to the Archos 10
Phew, finally something to distract us from all the mobile phone news coming out of Mobile World Congress, and surprise, surprise, it’s a netbook! It’s the Archos 10s to be precise, which is actually a successor to the not-yet-released Archos 10. Interesting strategy from the French company…
So what’s the dealio with the Archos 10s? Well, it measures just 20mm thick. Allow us to do the conversion. That’s just 2cm! It doesn’t get much slimmer than that in the world of netbooks. So surely it can’t be busting that many features? Wrong again, bucko! The Archos 10s will be flying with HSDPA and Wi-Fi connectivity, it’ll be powered by an Intel Atom processor and come with a range of hard drive options, from 60Gb to 160GB.
That’s not the only news emanating from Archos’ French home. We can also expect the arrival of a nine-inch tablet netbook, and this one’s even slimmer than the 10s. Are you ready to suck in your tummy? This measures just 17mm thick, but like the 10s will have a range of hard drive options, from 60GB to 160GB. Who said skinny was out of fashion?
