Aquaphone water-filled phone is bonkers but beautiful Aquaphone – water-friendly phone

Recent Gadget Show outings have seen us test the most rugged gadgets in the world and give you advice on what to do if your gadgets get wet. But what if your gadget is actually filled with water?

The Aquaphone concept has been outed today by designer Bon-Seop Ku. And while it may lack the whizzbang smartphone brains of most modern handsets, there’s no denying that this would pull some gasps if you pulled it out in the pub.

The see-through, insanely slim handset has an interface that works with water bubbles moving around the insides, powered by an electric current.

It might be pretty impractical for anyone who wants to browse the web or, say, send a text, but this is possibly the most beautiful piece of handset design we’ve seen in a long time.

Wat do you think? Would you buy the Aquaphone? Or is it a splash in the pan? (sorry)
