Apple MacBooks get track happy
Trackpad issues? No worries. Apple has released an update to sort the problem
Apple-baiters who’ve been saying for years that the company is all style over substance, were having a field day when Apple’s shiny new aluminium MacBook and MacBook Pro laptops started having a few problems. Turns out the buttonless, glass trackpads aren’t as responsive as Apple had hoped – who knew? Thankfully the bods at the big A have quickly come up with an update to fix it.
The update, which “addresses an issue where the trackpad clicks may not be recognized on MacBook (late 2008) and MacBook Pro (late 2008) systems” according to Apple, is pretty simple to get. Just head to the Apple menu at the top left of your screen and click Software Update. Easy.
It goes without saying, but you’ll only need this update if your MacBook or MacBook Pro is one of the new all-aluminium and glass models.
