Apple iPad 3 to be unveiled next month
Apple will finally unveil the Apple iPad 3 at an event next month, sources say. A third-generation iPad has been rumoured for a long time now, and it’s looking increasingly likely that the cutting-edge tablet will make an appearance during the first week of March at an event in San Francisco.
In traditional Apple style, the successor to the Apple iPad 2 will first be shown off and demonstrated ahead of its availability. A release date is naturally being kept a closely guarded secret. The iPad 2 hit the shops around one week after it was first launched, however.
Apple iPad 3: what we’d like to see
The report comes from the Wall Street Journal Wall Street Journal, who up until now have been laser accurate with its Apple sources. So, you can almost bet good money that we will see an iPad 3 before March is out.
As expected, little is actually known about the Apple iPad 3, but it’s safe to say we can expect a better processor, increased graphical muscle, a better camera, Siri voice recognition for voice commands, and quite possibly, longer battery life, following the natural progression curve of past Apple tech.
An entirely different story reports that we may not see just one, but two iPads launched this year. Yet another rumour indicates that Apple may launch a smaller 7-inch iPad later in the year, as Apple keeps a close watch on the growing e-book audience.
The above has of course yet to be confirmed, but if we can take anything away from it all, it’s that we should not spend our money on an Apple iPad 2 just yet.

If they do incorporate Siri with the new ipad i'm sure it will be a hit and will prove to be useful but i think the siri technology has not quite been perfected yet and so with the future models of iphone and ipad i am sure Siri will be able to do amazing things.
