Alcatel releases OT-808 for ladies
Alcatel OT-808 – pretty in pink?
Alcatel has just released the OT-808 – an odd, square QWERTY mini-clamshell, aimed directly at the female market.
The 808 is, of course, clad in pink, the favourite colour of ladies and sports a square design, which claims to be a “netbook look and feel”. There’s also a full QWERTY keypad, a 2.4 inch display, and a 1.1 inch external mono OLED display.
It’s also packing IM, Opera Mini browser, Bluetooth 2.0, FM radio, 2MP camera, and dual-band GSM connectivity. The phone also lets the lucky ladies “catch up with gossip”, thanks to social networking integration.
The Alcatel OT-808 will be available for £49.99 on PAYG tariff from April 2010.
