Acer's latest super-thin Aspire leaked
The new Acer Aspire – wafer-thin
The Acer Aspire TimelineX 1830T, Acer’s new wafer-thin netbook, has had its details leaked prior to its launch later this month, and it looks as if it’s got its sights firmly on the MacBook Air.
There have been whispers on the internet of a new super-svelte laptop from Acer for months, but the TimelineX 1830T has now been leaked in full by the blog Macles.
While the 11.6-inch screen on the Acer Aspire TimelineX 1830T is the same as the previous 1830T model, the new processor is reported to be an Intel Core i5-520UM, meaning it should outpace Atom-based netbook rivals. And despite the speed boost, Macles also says you can expect an eight-hour battery life out of it.
It also says that the new Aspire will also pack an HDMI port, three USB ports and optional 3G for hopping online anywhere.
The Acer Aspire TimelineX 1830T is expected to launch at the end of March, so we’ll let you know about pricing as soon as we do…
