Acer Aspire Revo revs up!
The Acer Aspire Revo gets a price tag. Actually, it gets four price tags.
Remember how we introduced you to the Acer Aspire Revo last week? Well, the snazzy PC/console hybrid has now got a price, and the good news is that it starts from under 200 smackers.
You read that right. For just £179.99 you can get yourself an Acer Aspire Revo that’s packing an Intel Atom N230 processor, Nvidia Ion graphics, 1GB Ram, 8GB SSD for storage and Linux OS. You’ll also get a keyboard and mouse thrown in for good measure.
All pretty basic stuff then, but if you want more oomph, then you can stump up some more cash and rev up your Revo, so to speak. For £250 you can upgrade your OS to Windows Vista Home Premium, get 2GB of memory and a much more respectable 160GB hard drive. Throw out a further 50 notes and you get the games package – 3D controller plus ten games. And if you want wireless keyboard and mouse, well that whole bundle will set you back £330. Very nice.
