Acer Aspire One joins the 10-inch club!
Another day, another netbook. This time it's Acer's 10-inch Aspire One
There has been a smorgasbord of sub-notebooks to choose from recently, why just yesterday we announced the Dell Mini 10 was on sale. And today we have more news from Acer that a 10-inch Aspire One is happening.
It’s pretty much similar spec to previous Aspire One models, but with a nice big 10.1-inch screen to take on the fatter cats of the netbook world. That screen is packed with a resolution of 1024×600 and LED backlighting so working on the fly doesn’t take as long as one of those Sudokus on Dr Kawashima’s Brain Training!
On the inside Acer’s thrown in an Intel Atom N270 processor, 1GB of RAM and up to a gutsy 160GB hard drive for storing all your holiday snaps and easy-listening tracks. The battery lasts an impressive six hours, and Windows XP is your operating system. There’s also a built-in webcam.
No price has been revealed yet, but with this being the latest in a long list of netbooks set for release in 2009, one thing’s for sure: tiny notebooks are big news!
