Abraca-Jabra: two new headsets appear!
Jabra unveils two new surprisingly attractive wireless headsets
In the hottest wireless headset news we’ve heard for a while, Jabra has unveiled the GO 6400 and PRO 9400 – two new wireless headsets for mobile phone users and they’re both pretty swish.
The Jabra GO 6400 and PRO 9400 use Bluetooth and DECT respectively and look as good as wireless headphones get. But the real news here is the sexy dock in which they rest. It boasts a 2.4-inch capacitive touchscreen, which allows for calls to be switched, volumes adjusted and numbers redialled.
Both the Jabra GO 6400 and PRO 9400 can handle a combo of landline, mobile phone and VoIP calls which you can switch between using that touchscreen. But what about the actual headsets? Well, the GO 6400 has the normal range for a Bluetooth headset, while the PRO 9400 allows you to stroll up to 450 feet away! Both use dual-microphones and have active sound-spike cancellation so it won’t feel like someone’s blowing down the mic when it’s windy.
Out in the US in September for $199, they’re also getting a UK release around the same time. The price is still to be confirmed for Blighty, though.
