AAXA P4 Pico projector is the world’s brightest, with a battery life to last
One gadget we could see a lot more of in 2012 is Pico projectors. Mini projectors that can fit in the pocket, yet support high definition video. The AAXA P4 is one of the latest. It’s the world’s brightest, with a battery life to match its record billing.
The AAXA P4 Pico might be a pocket-projection whizz, but its innards pack a punch. The AAXA P4 measures just 5.6-inches long, 2.7-inches wide and 1.2-inches tall, but it comes powered by a 750MHz Windows CE mobile processor, and an 80 lumen high-contrast engine courtesy of Texas Instruments DLP. World’s largest glasses-free display lets you see the side of objects in 3D
As bright as the AAXA P4 Pico projector is, its LED is built to last for around 15,000 hours using AAXA’s vibrant colour technology. Inside the AAXA P4, film-loving pocket projectionists will find 2GB of built-in memory and a microSD card slot for increased its storage.
The AAXA P4 Pico projector will project for up to 75 minutes, longer than similar, but less brighter projectors. So that should be more than enough to set up for most TV shows when away from home, or presentations.

Other AAXA P4 features of note include a 1280×800 VGA inout, composite video input, 1-watt speaker system, a 3.5mm headphone jack for private viewing and listening, and 720p high definition video support.
The AAXA P4 Pico projector is on sale now for $399 from AAXA, and can be shipped internationally.

The Mathew Wright Show: Picture Quality (in both SD and HD) is not as good as it was before the New Look Studio. Any camera man will tell you that it is extremely difficult to photograph a subject with a light behind it. The colour spectrum is limited and definition is diminished. I happened to look at an older Wright Programme (before New Look) which I had saved to DVD. The definition and colour were excellent. The light-behind-the-subject idea defeats us punters who buy HD TVs to get better picture quality.
