Introducing the A-Series: Sony's slimmest Walkman yet!

So Apple unveiled new iPods last week? Well, anything Apple can do… Sony’s just unleashed the new Sony A-Series Walkman – a new PMP with a super-slim shell to rival the nano’s and a gorgeous OLED display!

We’d already seen the Sony Walkman S540, and this doesn’t look too dissimilar, but there are some major differences. The Sony A-Series will come in capacities all the way up to a whopping 64GB (that’s enough to store your entire music collection, movies and your house!), a TV out, plus that awesome 2.8-inch OLED screen.

Measuring a hunger-inducing 7.2mm-thin, the A-Series is Sony’s thinnest Walkman yet. So it’ll slip into the tightest of trouser pockets no problemo.

The Sony Walkman A-Series is hitting Japan on October 30 with a price starting at around £160 and going up to £270 for that special 64GB offering. There’s still no word on a UK release, but as soon as Sony tells us, we’ll let you know!
