What the iPhone would look like as a slider
No, Apple hasn’t just snuck another blockbuster product announcement past your nose unnoticed. It’s called the BoxWave Keyboard Buddy Case and it’s a surprisingly attractive add-on for the iPhone that effectively turns it into a QWERTY slider.
The Keyboard Buddy Case hugs onto your iPhone like any other case, complete with all the obligatory holes for the camera, volume controls and speaker.
But it’s the slide-out keyboard element attached to the hard back that’s the real attraction, letting you protect your iPhone’s screen from finger smudges while you type away on real buttons as if Apple had always wanted that way, with Bluetooth bridging the communication gap between the two.
This surprisingly low-profile keyboard add-on is already on pre-order in the US, where it’ll go on sale on December 14. We wouldn’t be too surprised if it was doing a fairly brisk trade too, despite the $69.95 asking price.

I definitely wouldn't want one, was I to have an iPhone 4! It does seem a little too expensive at the moment too.
