The Beovision 10 – serious sliver of televisual treats
Bang & Olufsen has just taken the covers off its BeoVision 10 TV, and what a gorgeous slab of televisual loveliness it is too. It’s time to indulge in some gadget lust…
The new 40-inch Bang & Olufsen BeoVision 10 will set you back a cool £6,000, but that includes custom installation and a proprietary frame that’ll let the Bang & Olufsen BeoVision 10 swing outwards from a wall from its edge, rather than the usual bulky bracket.
The screen is full HD, non-reflective glass-coated, LED-lit beaut, flanked by built-in speakers and a subwoofer. There are four 10W amps inside, and one 50W amp for the sub. The Bang & Olufsen BeoVision 10 hides them well though, with inter-changeable grilles secured with hooks and magnets.
An added gadgety treat is the new Beo5 remote BeoVision 10 – it’s like a mini TV itself, packing a circle of keys, as well as a touchscreen display that clicks like a BlackBerry Storm when pressed. A word of warning, though – at £500 it’s not to be lost down the back of the sofa.
