Wristy business? Nah, it's just the Leyio!
As Barry Manilow once sang: “Her name was Leyio, she was a show girl…” What? It was Lola? Anyway, after that tenuous introduction, allow me to introduce the Leyio – a personal sharing device. It’s a 16GB storage facility that allows you to exchange files in three different ways: via a USB stick; via the shuttle; and the piece de resistance – via the flick of a wrist.
Okay, so you need to find someone else with a Leyio storage device. Then you just synch up each device, pick the file you want to transfer, flick it over, and wait for the vibration. It sends the info over an ultra-wide band using a low frequency, low energy transfer. It’s clever stuff.
It’s also super-secure. Register your thumb print on the Leyio and nobody else can get at your files! The technology’s a good one and if the principle can be applied to say, mobile phones, well, you can expect more wrist action than in a 13-year-old boy’s bedroom. Sorry.
