Vlogging a dead horse!
Vlogging. Sounds vaguely rude, doesn’t it? Well, be still your filthy minds because it’s actually a sort of video diary you post onto the net so everyone on the Web can see what you think.
Vlogging burst into popularity four years ago about the same time as the advent of iPod Video, the launch of YouTube, and broadband users overtaking dial-up users. Vloggers seized these tools to get their message (some interesting, some not so) out to the considerable masses. But you still need the right kit to get started. Firstly, you need the right Webcam to capture what you’ve got to say in good enough quality to keep viewers interested. I got to grips with the Microsoft LifeCam Show, Logitech QuickCam Spere AF and the Philips Webcam SPC1330NC.
Next: where to upload your video. YouTube? DailyMotion? Blip.TV? All good choices. All you need now, is something to talk about. How about 1970’s architecture? No? It’s interesting… check out my full vlog on the subject!

I`m doing a solo 7000 mile, 8 month walk for the Help for Heroes charity. I have sent a few e-mails to your show but have not recieved a reply of any sort.. The walk takes place in just a few months and could really do with some help and advice. Maybe it would be a great opportunity for a very rugged test for some of your tech, while helping a great cause. Like i`ve mentioned, time is getting short, so i would really appreciate a reply so i know you have at least looked at this. Details of the walk are on the H4H and HeroNet websites. Thankyou.. Tom L
