The spy(ware) who didn’t love me
There’s nothing worse than all your computer programs being slowed down by some irritating spyware – with the possible exception of having to live with Joe Pasquale and Timmy Mallett, but other than that, there’s nothing worse.
But what does spyware do, exactly? Well, it converts and gathers your information without your knowledge, recording your keystrokes, passwords, credit card numbers, and information from websites you visit. It can also monitor what you’re doing even when you’re not connected to the internet!
So, we’ve established that spyware can be, not just irritating, but pretty dangerous. So how do you avoid it in the first place? Well, like a nasty STD you can pick it up in a variety of ways: clicking on a pop-up window, installing a software package or agreeing to add functionality to a web browser are just a few of the ways. The best way to avoid it is by getting the technical equivalent of some spyware contraception – an internet security package!
That’s enough of me blathering on, watch the video for some sure-fire ways to keep that spyware at bay…

try malwarebytes antimalware its free (without live monitoring) and works wonders even on those tough to get out staines (joke) srsly it gets rid of rootkit and protected file based spyware and along with ccleaner and clamwin makes up my "my computers broke can you fix it" toolkit.

I use kaspersky online scaner to scan my PC, using a virtual keyboard will trick keyloggers as they take there data from the key board ( I think ), I have to say those java-script tool tips that pop up in the browser windows are pretty convincing.

ad-aware or CC cleaner. They are both free.
