The coolest Android release so far?

Forget the Nexus One, the Sony Ericsson X10 and the Motorola Milestone – this has got to be my favourite Android release so far – Android Mini Collectables.

They are a set of Droid-style figures – each one in 3inches of cuteness and there are 12 designs to collect, including Octopoid, Hi-Voltage, Worker and just plain Android. What’s more, the little fellas will come blind boxed, so you won’t know what you’re getting until you open it, and there will also be ultra-rare ones to collect.

I can’t see Microsoft managing to make something as cool to market Windows Mobile, can you? Perhaps they could do figurines of the Word paperclip?
