Taking a shot at the professionals
This week I tried to prove that you don’t need a massive, expensive rig to take fantastic photographs – you just need to choose your camera well and add a dash of creativity.
I went head-to-head with professional photographer James Nader to create an action, landscape and water-themed masterpiece, using identical twins as models.
There really is a wealth of creative options for the enthusiastic amateur nowadays, so I plumped for the Casio Exilim EX FH20 for my action-packed shot, due to its ability to shoot up to 40fps. I opted for the rather amazing FujiFilm Real 3D W1 to shoot my landscape in 3D – sneaky, I know.
The Panasonic Lumix DMC FT1 was my final choice for my underwater masterpiece. If you don’t want to see me in swimming trunks, look away now…
What kind of camera do you use? And any tips for other enthusiasts out there?
