Stop that racket!
Ah, the plush comfort of BOSE headphones. The Quiet Comfort Sunday supplement perennials aren’t cheap, but they’ve always exuded that particular kind of starchy, English quality that appeals to successful estate agents who live in Tring.
Anyway, while I’ve always found the noise-cancelling to fare well with them, I have to say that the sound quality has always disappointed somewhat. That’s why I was intrigued to see how the new Denon AH-NC732 noise-cancelling headphones fared by comparison.
And in all honesty, they were pretty good. If you want audio of world class proportions and smoothery, with almost magical noise suppression tech, the Denons are well worth the moderately bonkers cost. But then, you can’t put a price on tranquillity at 20,000ft, or on the train to work, or even standing on a bridge above a motorway… as I am in this video. Take a look!
