PSP 2 incoming? Yeah right…

The Sony PSP will supposedly have a multi-touch screen. But will it be haunted?

So, apparently the next Sony PSP will have a multi-touch screen, come with Bluetooth and be the most awesome handheld gadget on the Earth… ever… part two.

Those are the rumours doing the rounds on the internet at the moment, but should we believe them? I mean the internet is the place that told us about the haunted toaster, advertised a $3,500 space ship for sale, and had an auction for a signed first copy of Plato’s Republic!

Anyway, back to the PSP rumours. I’ve lost count of the amount of times a new PSP has been mentioned, only for us to get a slightly slimmer or slightly upgraded version. That said, these new rumours have something altogether more believable about them. I mean, a multi-touch screen is well within the company’s abilities given the upcoming Sony X-Series Walkman, and Bluetooth, well, what doesn’t have Bluetooth these days?

Fingers crossed then that these new rumblings come about. It’s about time Sony’s portable powerhouse had a follow-up. Oh, just one more thing, Sony… can we have some decent games this time, please!
