Nintendo DS: Top 5 Games!
With the success of the Nintendo DS, handheld gaming has never been so popular. It’s not just the hardware that made the Nintendo DS a success, either, with loads of incredible games on offer that made people think about buying a DS.
We’ve seen tons of games on the Nintendo DS, and it’s definitely the handheld of choice if fun is top of your wish list. What games should you go for, though? Check out our top 5 below for some of the most action-packed games currently on sale.
New Super Mario Bros Mario makes another comeback in new Super Mario Bros, showing just what a popular icon he’s become. This latest version even gets a new makeover, ready for Nintendo’s 3DS handheld. Instead of regular graphics, then, New Super Mario Bros boasts 3D graphics – as with other titles on the Nintendo 3DS. We’ve tried it, and the 3DS is one of the most impressive pieces of tech we’ve seen so far this year.
Mario Kart DS Another character to turn back time, Mario just won’t go away, with the cheeky graphics of Mario Kart DS suiting the mobile gaming platform down to a tee. It’s not too taxing on the graphics, with the fun renderings running smoothly and quickly, and you can spend more time concentrating on the game and beating your opponents.
Pokemon White Pokemon may have been a lot more popular several years ago, but we’ve recently seen a resurgence in the gaming market, with Pokemon White on the Nintendo DS being a great example. This game offers 155 Pokemon to catch, along with an immersive Pokemon world. There’s also Pokemon Black, but in our opinion Pokemon White is the one to go for.
Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars Grand Theft Auto has been around for several years now, but in its latest iteration – Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars – it’s more popular than ever. Even the small screens on the Nintendo DS haven’t done anything to ruin the gaming experience, with escaping with cars, and conducting shady deals, proving more fun than ever.
The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass Few games come as highly recommended as The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass. This game works particularly well on the Nintendo DS, with a completely new control system based around the Nintendo’s touchscreen display. It also looks absolutely amazing, and brings lots of new puzzles for you to solve.
