Money, money, money...
In these troubled economic times making a few extra quid could make all the difference. That’s why Jason’s taken it upon himself to bring you his top five tips to make money from your tech.
If you’re anything like us you’ve probably got a garage-full of old tech just gathering dust. Well don’t just let them just sit there on their techy posteriors. They could be making you money!
If you have any classic bits of tech (we’re thinking retro phones, original Sinclair ZX80, or a first-gen iPod in good condition) for instance, these could fetch you a pretty penny from collectors and the like.
Don’t fancy that? How about a bit of scrappage? Sony’s offering all sorts of trade-in deals. on your old telly before October 18. Take in your old set and Sony will give you money off a brand new BRAVIA from £50 discounts up to £150 depending on size.
Of course you can always just sell all your old tech on the world’s number one auction site, eBay. It’s all about marketing your old tech as best as you can: great pictures, great description, great price. Simple.
For more tips on how to make money from your old gadgets watch the whole video above. Can you afford not too?

On a recent show, it was suggested to join "stock" photo sites to earn extra money. I have tried to upload to 'Fotolia', 'istockphoto' and 'alamy' all without success, due mainly to the fact that my photo 'size' is too small. I have been using a "Fujifilm" S304 for some years [before 8 - 10 mega-pixels became the norm] and have accumulated some very good quality stock. Have you any ideas as to where I can go from here. Many thanks Clive

I love the gadget show and last week my boyfriend and I decided to enter the competition on screen. now we are getting bombarded with texts, each one costing £1.50 a time. We just wanted to enter the competition and now we are being punished for it. I've tried emailing channel 5, with no avail and can't find a way to contact anyone from the gadget show...so seeing as the title here is money I found it very fitting to ask...how can I get my money back and stop adverts every 10 mins. I was a fan but with every text annoying me more and more I'm slowly getting very put off. the last thing I want to hear about now is the gadget show....which is a shame as I use to really enjoy it. please help !

Hi, I know Ebay is the top auction site but I was wondering if anyone knew of any others that are just as good? Thanks Charlotte
