Mega fun with the Mega Drive
This week I’ve been revisiting my youth with a retro gaming gem: the Blaze Mega Drive, a mini version of Sega’s classic 16 bit console pre-loaded with fifteen games – and compatible with any old Mega Drive titles you’ve got gathering dust in your loft.
And is it fun? Most definitely! While the graphics and sound are light years away from current consoles like the Xbox 360 and PS3, there’s plenty of good old fashioned enjoyment to be had out of the likes of EA Hockey and Sonic & Knuckles. And with that all for the price of one current console game, it’s credit crunch friendly to boot!
See for yourself how I got on with the Blaze Mega Drive in this week’s Web TV Episode.
