Law and 'corder
Camcorders have been getting smaller. It’s a fact. Don’t believe me? Just check out the JVC GR-C1 from Back To The Future that we featured in the Wall of Fame a few months back – that bad boy came straight out of the 80s and Andre the Giant’s hands! The Veho Muvi, however, is a prime example of just how far we’ve come since Michael J Fox was pulling in the big Box Office bucks.
The Veho Muvi is, according to its makers, the smallest camcorder in the world. For an equally minuscule £80, you get a camcorder made from a robust and sturdy aluminium case and with one-touch operation. It even has a feature that allows it to start recording when it hears the sound of your voice.
It records up to VGA quality – not quite up to say the Mino HD’s standards – but not too bad for something so small. Is it Stephen Spielberg’s next camcorder? Probably not. Ideal for covert filming? Absolutely.
