It's Apple Tablet day
Today's the day for the big Apple announcement
Well, it’s finally here – today’s the day we get to see what all the Apple-flavoured fuss is about. At 6pm this evening, our time, the latest Apple hypeathon will kick off at the Yerba Buena centre in San Fransisco.
So will the highly anticipated Apple Tablet appear today? And if so, what distinctive Apple treats will it offer? AMOLED screen? Built-in 3G? iPhone apps? Music streaming services?
And speaking of the iPhone – will there be any further announcements from Apple on an iPhone 4G – perhaps the Tablet is a complete red herring. We’ll all have to wait until 6pm to find out… so stay tuned to The Gadget Show website for all the latest on the Apple Tablet.

I personally don't think it is an iPhone 4G, because the 3Gs was released too recently, unless the 4G targets a completely different market (eg it is a bigger version, targeted at the e-book reader market). The possibility of the iTablet/Slate/Gadget/Didgeridoo being a Red Herring is high though. ~Rob
