It's a mini adventure...
When thinking of very small PCs, as I often find myself doing, it’s natural to picture the Asus Eee PC. It’s become something of a tech pin-up, popularising mini-notebooks everywhere. And there are plenty of the shrinked-down blighters to go around. As quickly as our economy has shrunk, so the netbook market has expanded beyond all expectations.
In a sexy netbook showdown, I’ve enlisted the help of ITN newsreader Julie Etchingham to test three of the latest manbag-sized notebooks to find out exactly how practical they are, keeping an eye on ease-of-use, portability, battery life and, of course, cost. Naturally one of the three was an Asus – the Eee PC 1000H to be precise – with the Acer Aspire One D150 and Samsung NC10 completing the line-up.
So, which of these mini-notebooks gets the thumbs-up from ITN’s finest? Click on the video to find out…
