Five for the weekend: A 200-megapixel camera and an Apple MacBook Pro beater!
We’ve had an excellent week for gadgets, news and smartphones, with some truly innovative devices popping up over the past few days. With the weekend upon us, we’ve picked through the cream of the crop to find the best electronic toys. Read on to see if you agree.
Samsung AF310 all in one Apple’s iMac proved just how popular all-in-one computers can be, and Samsung wants a piece of the action. The AF310 is a 23-inch monster, packed with the latest features and technology. There’s a Core i5 processor, a powerful graphics card, and 1TB of storage space.
Hasselblad H4D-200MS OK, 200-megapixels is more than you’ll ever need, but imagine the photographs you’ll be able to take with this baby. With a staggering 200 million pixels, you’ll be able to view photographs in amazing quality. It’ll cost though, with a staggering price tag of €32,000.
Nokia Mango Windows Phone Nokia Windows Phone handsets may not be on sale yet, but we can’t wait. With high-quality, feature-packed Nokia hardware, and the attractive new Windows Phone OS, we’re hopeful that Nokia’s fortunes could turn around with the next generation of smartphones.
8.9-inch Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 inches is a pretty good size for a tablet, sitting comfortably between portability and usability. The latest tablet from Samsung runs Android, looks great and fingers crossed it’ll be going on sale in the UK in the next month or so. The original Samsung Galaxy Tab was a cracker, so with a bit of luck this one will be too.
Dell XPS 15z If you’re a fan of the MacBook Pro, but can’t quite stretch to the £1k+ asking price, the new Dell XPS 15z could be the ideal machine for you. Constructed from aluminium and magnesium, it looks fantastic, and also has a spec to match. You can even get a super sharp 1920×1080-pixel resolution for the 15.6-inch screen.
