Nice idea.. Clothes of the future. But altogether a fruitless excercise. All that effort to put that kit in a jacket, like Hemmingway said, ties all your gadge to that jacket. Want to wear something else and you'd have to leave your kit at home. Same goes for Suzie's shoes for that matter.
And thats why gadget clothing will never really take off. In fact all the things Jason tried to add to his jacket are already available in a simple (but clever) portable and pocketable device that isn't tied to one outfit. The iPhone.
I think the show is great, and it was a fun excercise, but having chosen clothing, the outcome was always going to be pointless.
And don't get me started on that "futurologist"! Laser-driven video screen contact lenses in 5-6 years!?? How, and more importantly.. Why?
