Episode 5 - Flying Man
This week Jason and Ortis attempt to build their own flying machine to win the Worthing Birdman competition. With the help of aeronatical engineers, computer modelling and a wind tunnel they create the ultimate human powered flying craft constructed from lightweight carbon and foam. To choose who will fly the machine Jason and Ortis play a game of high dive chicken to see if either of them has the bottle to take a running jump off the 10 metre high Worthing Pier. With their craft constructed and pilot chosen they are ready to find out if their flying machine will see them gliding effortlessly through the skies or dump them unceremoniously into the drink. With thanks to all these guys who helped make it all happen -
