Episode 16 - Gadget Show Vs
This week The Gadget Show takes on the professionals at their own game. Jason Bradbury, Suzi Perry, Ortis Deley and Jon Bentley will each go up against an expert in a particular field and see if, with the help of gadgets and tech, they can beat them. Suzi is at the largest climbing wall in Britain scaling some precipitous heights in a bid to beat pro-climber and British lead climbing champion, Natalie Berry. Jason Bradbury is at Silverstone, with one of the world’s fastest racing drivers, ex-Formula 1 and Le Mans star Johnny Herbert. Ortis Deley meanwhile will be in the Penines, at Holme Moss, which, with its 14% gradient is one of the most gruelling climbs on the British cycling circuit. Finally, Jon Bentley is pitting his photography skills against pro photographer James Nadar to see who can produce the most dynamic snap. The question is will any of them manage to beat the professionals? With thanks to all these guys who made it happed –

although jason "won" the driving challenge, i would have to say that it looked a little unfair in my view as the actual track was wet, and as far as i could tell the virtual one wasn't and that would equate to several seconds.

I love the gadget show, but can you have a disabled gadget theme for one programme or a section of your gadget show on as a regular feature? I have joint probs. and would love to know about gadgets that could make my life easer .. say what's the best souped up wheelchair (one I can go into town without using my car) or an automatic bedmaker or what's the best hands free tin opener ... lots of ideas!

Jsson - what "assists" did you use? What was the time? To be fair Jonnie Herbert did a brilliant job considering the track was wet, he switched off Traction Control & Stability Control and it was having to change gear manually!!
