Episode 1 - The Desert Challenge
This week, in the first of a new series, Suzi and Jason face their most punishing challenge ever when they are dropped into the Liwa desert in Abu Dhabi; one of the most arid, inhospitable locations on earth. Here they have to survive by using high tech clothes designed to keep them cool in the burning heat of the desert sun, state of the art water bottles to keep them hydrated and then go head to head testing the very latest Sat phones for usability, connectivity and coverage while being buried alive in sand. Finally they go head to head in their fastest and most adrenalin fuelled race ever, driving two of the most awesome desert vehicles since the camel – the amazing Sand X, a all terrain quad bike and the awesome Sinister Sand Sports SR2, a steel framed buggy with a ridiculously powerful motorbike engine. Thanks to all of these guys who made it all happen.

The ioSafe Solo is designed to protect the data contained on the internal hard drive after a disaster. In the rare event that the ioSafe Solo is exposed to fire or water, the ioSafe Solo is designed to enable recovery of the internal drive and the data contained inside. The external connectors, after being submersed or exposed to extreme heat, should not be used. This episode of the Gadget Show did not follow the recommended steps of data recovery nor did they utilize the ioSafe Data Recovery Service.
All ioSafe hardware comes with a no-questions-asked Data Recovery Service included in the purchase. Should a drive be damaged for any reason – from fire to virus to coffee spill – ioSafe will spend up to £500 to recover the data and then send it back to the customer on a replacement device. Shipping and replacement costs are also paid for by ioSafe.

The e-book review was far too biased, was it sponsored by Amazon Kindle. The Sony e-book is the only one that was reviewed that could take all formats of electronic books, which is a far more cost saving way of buying e-books as you are not tied to one supplier or country. It has two memory card slots which the Kindle has ooh none. The screen is a little bit reflective, but so is anything shiny placed in direct sunlight as were all of them. Ok the price is a little high but you are paying for the quality and ease of use. I looked at the Kindle but the price of the books was far too high and the lack of finish put me off. You were way off the mark on this one
