When testing tellies, picture quality is paramount. Of all the mini TVs Jon tested three 19-inchers stood out in particular: the Sharp LC19SH7E, Sony KDL-19L4000 and Panasonic TX-L19X10. Three small TVs then, all with character, digital TV tuners and bags of potential.

But Jon wasn’t going to test these on his own. Thewily old fox managed to tempt journalist and TV addict Dawn Porter into his bed, leaving behind the sensitive subjects she normally reports on – such as nudity, extreme dieting and mail-order brides – to run the rule over the three bedroom tellies.
