Shoot-Out: VW Golf R vs SEAT Leon Cupra R

Shoot-Outs | about 1 year ago

The Golf R is the absolute pinnacle of the current Golf range - a four wheel drive, 265bhp hyper hatch that costs £31,000. But is it actually as desirable it seems?  The Leon Cupra R from VW-owned company SEAT might only be two wheel drive but costs £5,000 less despite having an almost identical engine. So, what’s quickest – expensive four wheel drive Golf R, or cheaper, two wheel drive Leon Cupra R? Tiff finds out.

Shoot-Out: VW Golf R vs SEAT Leon Cupra R is tagged with VW, Volkswagen, golf, r, 4 wheel drive, 4WD, Seat, leon, cupra r, fwd, Hot Hatch and hyper hatch. Select a tag (VW, for example) to find everything on FiveFWD about the subject.
