Goto youtube and watch it on there but to be honest it's a rebbish review. The guy is more interested in giving his ego a boost. I have trawled the net and this is the only bad review I have found for the BMW X1.

I watched it on youtube and it is really a very bad way to contradict a car, there were even no facts at all (i'll wait for top gear review).

It seems to have become fashionable for people in the motoring press to slate and criticise BMWs. I guess a lot of that is because BMW is consistently producing class leading cars and it would become boring to write: Great car, handles well, strong performance etc etc. Making silly "comparisons" and trying to be "hip" as in this video makes for better reading/watching (or so we're led to believe). I drove an X1 Xdrive 23d back in January (and have driven several BMWs in the past - 1 series, 3 series, 5 series, X3s, Z4s 5GT 7 series to name a few) and I have to say it was very impressive, coping well in the snowy conditions. It was plenty quick enough when needed, handled well being more comfortable than the X3s I've been in too. My only niggle with it was the quality of the trim on the lower dash near the gear stick (the two bits either side) as I felt these were a little hard. Having said all of that, it is BMWs entry level off roader so it is unreasonable to expect it to be finished to the same standard as a X5! Perhaps Graham would be better off staying in the office???

Did they actually air this drivel? If so I hope BMW dont lend them any more cars. Utter Utter drivel

excellent review. also I really hate people who live in the city and buy an off-roader, pointless.
